Cars in the Park Show/Sierra Vista – Oct 10, 2009

The annual Cars in the Park show hosted by the Sierra Vista Car Club proved to be another successful event. SVCC had over 360 vehicles show and the weather was perfect.

The trek to the show began with club members coming from Casa Grande, Tucson, Bisbee, Hereford and Huachuca City. A large caravan of the Casa Grande and Tucson members proved to be yet another fun trip on the highway with the assorted colors and make, models and years of Mopars. I’m sure it was a sight to see for those travelling along the highway with the caravan.

Once at the show, we made “camp” and had a great time exchanging funny stories, eating food we shouldn’t be eating, walking around to look at the other vehicles and just relaxing under the canopies.

Three of our club members brought home trophies either for the class they were registered in or took home a “best of” trophy. The Tucson Mopar Club made a very impressive showing that day and will continue to do so at future shows.
